The way I approach yoga

The duration of my practice includes the following parts. The Asanas (the positions-postures of yoga) the technical part, adapted to everyone’s needs. The breaths, which I consider a necessary part for balancing the entire practice, during the positions and as breathing techniques for better internal balance. Our connection with breathing and observing it is very important.

A combination of gentle and dynamic asanas either static or flowing, series of exercises on the floor in a lying or sitting position. Beginners, more advanced students and even people with injuries can attend the classes. So through practice we breathe better, more deeply and above all with awareness. Breathing and body alignment, balance, strengthening and flexibility. Emphasis is placed on self-observation and maintaining calmness and balance in order to connect with our own self.

Meditation is an integral part of the integrated practice. Relaxation and yoga nidra for the end.

In general, observation is a word that I repeat a lot during the practice because I think it has great power in any improvement. This of course also applies beyond practice of yoga and this is the purpose in general. It is one of the many benefits you get through yoga and you transfer them to your demanding everyday life so that you can respond.

Self-observation of our behavior, reactions, emotions, changes in order to improve, further develop and heal issues that concern us.

The breathing techniques that yoga teaches, no matter how simple they are, help us manage the stress that disrupts and affects all the  systems of our body.

My approach to yoga is not only about the way of exercise and strengthening the entire body, but something much more. It is a system that balances body, spirit and emotion.

We live more time in our thoughts and not in the present and our bodies.

It’s never too late to change!
